Hi there! my name is Lily, I'm the face behind Luna&Lemons Cleaning Company! I'm a Wausau local with two spoiled cats (One of them is named Luna, the inspiration behind our name!) I am the second oldest of 6 kids, looking to pave my own path and officially open my professional business to the public!
I have OCD which means cleaning isn't just a job for me, it's therapeutic and something I genuinely enjoy! There's nothing more satisfying to me than turning a messy space into a welcoming, enjoyable home you can love!
I use all natural chemicals, inspired by my kitties, that means no matter what I clean, you won't have to worry about pets, kids, or anything else putting harsh chemicals into their mouths! All chemicals I use are pet safe, non-toxic, and eco-friendly.
I started this business because I wanted to help people in my community feel more comfortable and welcome in their own space. Real homes. Not picture perfect homes you see on TV, not until you hire me that is ;)

I show up when I say I will and I keep communication simple and clear. I know how stressful it can feel to let someone into your home, so I work in a way that feels respectful and easy. I clean with the same level of detail I use in my own space and I treat your home like it matters.

How do I book a cleaning with you?

Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
Absolutely not! If you choose to be home that is totally okay, but you aren't required to be! If you ARENT home during the clean, simply leave a way for me to access your home and I will lock up after I leave upon request!
What should I do before you arrive?
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! I never want to make you feel the need to 'clean before the cleaners', unless your goal is to save money there is no reason for YOU to do any cleaning prior to me showing up! Trust me I've seen worse, I promise.
Do you bring your own cleaning supplies?
Yes! Everything except a vacuum! If you have carpet I simply ask you leave your vacuum in a easy-to-find place, or show me where it is when I arrive! Other than that I bring everything I could possibly need to clean your home! I also remove trash at the end of every clean!
Are your products safe for pets and kids?
YES! One of my main focuses is non-toxic and pet friendly cleaners, as a cat-mom to two, natural cleaners are really important to me and the health of my cats.
How long does a typical cleaning take?
Timing depends on the home but the average home (around 2-3 bedrooms, 1-2 bathrooms) takes about 3-4 hours total. Shorter for smaller spaces and longer for bigger ones :)
What is included in a regular clean?
Counters, floors, beds, everything! The only things I don't do are the exterior windows, interiors of appliances, and laundry. If you are looking for a more itemized list of everything that's included, check out our ABOUT SERVICES section!
What is included in a move in or move out clean?
Everything from the ceiling to the floor! Excluding interior of the dishwasher and oven.
Do you offer deep cleaning?
I do not offer specifically "deep" cleaning services, however I won't reject you just because of the state of your home. I consider my "regular clean" to be my standard, therefore I don't offer deep cleans as the regular clean IS a deep clean.
How does pricing work?
I charge by the hour for regular cleans and I give a set estimate for move in or move out cleans. Final price depends on the size and condition of the home.
Do you charge extra if the home is very messy?
Yes. Each home is different and mess is to be expected, with that being said, if the home is beyond a normal amount of clutter/mess/cleanliness, I will charge an extra hourly fee/rate dependent on the state of the home.
What areas do you service?
All of Wisconsin! If you are in the Wausau area, there is no extra fee for distance, however if you are out of the following cities an extra mileage fee will be added to your total: Wausau, Weston, Schofield, Callon, Rothschild, Kronenwetter, Nutterville, Maine, Rib Mountain.
Do you clean carpets or do laundry?
I do not do laundry. I also do not shampoo/wash carpets. I do, however, vacuum if provided one and needed.
What is your cancellation policy?
Life happens, totally normal. Just let me know more than 24 hours in advance and no fees will be applied, however any reschedule/cancellation less than 24 hours in advance will result in a fee. Please see the "FEES" section here.
How often can I schedule recurring cleans?
I do not have a cap on how often you need me, I currently offer weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, Tri-annually, quarterly and yearly; anything your home needs. Just let me know your wants for the cleans and I will do my best to accommodate you!
